Downloadable application forms are now available for Summer Camp WEEKANEATIT, our kids-only summer camp for children and teenagers with celiac disease, which will be held at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way in Winder, Georgia from May 30 through June 4. Please print-out, complete, and mail-in your forms by May 1st. A doctor's signature is required with your application. Camp Fee is $250 per camper. Complete instructions and mailing information are included with the forms:

In other news: Our third annual gluten-free weekend for familes, Family Camp WEEKANEATIT 2010, will be held September 10-12 at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way. More information and registration forms will be available here in the coming weeks.
This month, The ING Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon Weekend will provide some fun opportunities to raise funds for Camp WEEKANEATIT! Join our team, "Team Celiac Kids - Camp WEEKANEATIT", and participate in the Marathon/Half Marathon (March 21) or the Publix Run Wild 5K and Kids Fun Run (March 20).

Georgia R.O.C.K. members are invited to attend a Gluten-Free Product Fair in Asheville, NC on Saturday, April 24, 2010. The event will take place from 11am to 2pm at Carolina Day School. Admission will be free. Between 10am and 11am, there will be an educational talk entitled "Raising a Healthy, Gluten-Free Child" by Laurie Steenwyk, dietitian from Pardee Hospital. According to Ingles dietitian Leah McGrath,"This is the third year we have held this event and we expect it to be even larger this year and feature more than forty different vendors with gluten-free product samples, gluten-free items in the community (like bakeries and restaurants) as well as gluten-free resources and support groups."
